Our Baguio trip has been long overdue, me and my friends can't come up with a decent schedule since most of us are already working. But this time we made sure to align our schedule for this trip to happen. 

I've been to Baguio when I was a kid, I was 9 years old then and I don't even remember half the things we did - but with the help of the photos I stumbled upon every time I fix old boxes at home, I am a bit reminded what Baguio looked like.

Travel Tip #1. Make sure to dress appropriately for the weather. Check the weather online what would be the temperature during your stay. During ours, and this is according to my search it's 20-22 degrees from Saturday to Monday, so I didn't expect much for a very cold weather plus the fact that summer season is approaching.

Travel Tip #2. Choose hotels/transient house near tourist spots. It will save you a lot of time and money (if you don't have a private car with you). You can walk from one place to another; ours is near Baguio Cathedral, Session Road, Baguio Market, SM Baguio, and Burnham Park. 

We also visited the Baguio Craft Brewery [freshly brewed beer!!]

We also had breakfast at 50's Diner, old location at General Luna Road is now closed. NEW LOCATION is at Porta Vaga Mall 4th Level.

Travel Tip #3. Taxis are one of the main mode of transportation. If you haven't visited Baguio before, regular taxis there don't have aircon plus flag down rate is cheaper than Manila (they even give you exact change).

Travel Tip #4. Don't be shy, Ask the locals. I know some of us [yes, including me] are shy asking locals for directions. The Baguio locals are accommodating and will tell you easiest way to your destination. So, don't be shy to ask directions.

Travel Tip #5. Buy pasalubong at the Baguio Market. If you're just so friendly and always want to share pasalubong wherever you go, best is to know where to buy cheapest goodies in the area. We bought all our pasalubong at the Baguio Market, cheaper and lots of choices. Plus, we also bought [fresh] vegetables to cook back home.

We also visited BenCab Museum, you can ride a Jeepney [bound to Asin] terminal is near Baguio Market. Or by taxi, approx 30 minutes from Session Road.

(last entry at 5:30 pm).
Closed on Mondays, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

- Pizza Volante - love the 8 inch pizza

I love how Baguio is not only cold, but also rich in culture. Lots of places to visit, food to try and delicacies only Baguio can offer. I'd love to go back and relax, and see more of our summer capital.
